Fallout re: Omar
Minnesota leads today with the fallout around Omar.
Minnesota
- @lizcollin reposted Alpha News on a DSA-backed state lawmaker hosting a Minneapolis event with streamer Hasan Piker and Ilhan Omar. MN GOP Chairman Alex Plechash is now asking Klobuchar to withdraw her Omar endorsement (RT). She also went after KSTP's Tom Hauser for skipping the Peggy Flanagan grandfather story, asking "If it were a Republican's grandpa, perhaps it would be?" (post). She shared parents' and students' alarm over a White Bear Lake equity resolution that adopts "government speech" (post), and set a 10-year-old Alpha News headline beside a Star Tribune front page from this week (post).
- @clif_high reposted a DeepLeaksHQ claim that the FBI raided offices of top Walz administration officials over the "$9 billion" fraud (RT). That comes from one unsourced account, so treat it as unconfirmed until a news outlet reports it. He also reposted John Yoo arguing that Omar can't sit in Congress if her citizenship paperwork proves false. Another repost, from End Wokeness, showed Oregon politician Nafisa Fai speaking Somali at a Minnesota rally with an upside-down flag.
- @ZarkFiles reposted Liz Wheeler's thread arguing Omar's naturalization is "probably invalid" (RT).
- @phillipcparrish only posted replies. He agreed with a post about Minnesota taxpayers funding Somali refugees' trips home, and thanked Rubio for the Cuba sanctions designation.
National, with Minnesota parallels
- @ZarkFiles focused on DOJ pressure on state election chiefs. He cited Harmeet Dhillon's July letter warning Michigan's Jocelyn Benson that officials who let non-citizens vote will be prosecuted (post). He also covered U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli's emergency suit after California refused to flag more than 20,000 non-citizens who had been mailed ballots, and predicted states will be "forced into compliance." If DOJ keeps going state by state, Steve Simon's office could be next. Separately, he promoted his AMC Archive X appearance about dreams of 9/11 he says he had in 1990.
- @PatriotMarkCook spent the day urging people to vote in person on Election Day instead of early: "Nobody wins a game by letting the opponent have the ball" (post). That runs straight against the Twin Cities "Vote Early" push. He boosted Shawn Smith's case for full hand counts over random 5% audits, which cuts against the random-precinct review Minnesota does after elections. He also offered free help to Maricopa Recorder Justin Heap and plugged Lara Logan's 100th-episode live show on Saturday, Oct 17.
- @pjcolbeck reposted a clip of Abdul El-Sayed calling himself an "immigrant from North Africa," though he has long said he was born in Detroit (RT). It's the Michigan version of the questions about Omar's background.
Your other two
- @clif_high also urged followers to "practice ARMED DEFENSE daily," after an armed civilian ended a school shooting in Bend, Oregon (post). He posted about the City of London ruling Britain and his idea for a levitating "floaty RV," and reposted items on weather control and Pence.
- @martingeddes posted a reflective essay asking what happens "when old friends still recognise your face, but no longer recognise your world" (post). The rest were reposts of date-decoding threads and a claim about folate in food.
@WhiteHouse showed no posts in this window. That's unusual for them and may just be a gap in what I could read.
